Jacksboro High School students representing Cheer, FCCLA, and FFA attended a reception for Retiring State Senator Drew Springer to thank him for his service to Jack County.
At approximately 10:45 this morning, Faith Community Hospital EMTs were dispatched to Jacksboro Elementary due to a staff member experiencing a medical emergency. The staff member was stabilized and transported to Faith Community Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The medical emergency occurred in a classroom with students present. Parents of these students have been notified. No other students were involved in this incident. Please join me in praying for the health and well-being of this valuable JISD employee.

UPDATED TIME: Jacksboro Middle School will be hosting its Meet The Teacher night on August 19, 2024. 1st Period Class will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. Parents will be invited to join their students as they follow the student schedule exploring each class.

JISD and the Tigerettes sends a big thank you to Daniel Barton, Transportation Director at Windthorst ISD. He came to the rescue this afternoon when our softball team bus had a tire blow out. He brought them a bus, stayed with it until it was retrieved and has been a huge help!
