JISD will be closed on February 14, 2025 for a scheduled student holiday. In an effort to support our local businesses, we will accept Valentines Deliveries on February 13, 2025.
Students will be able to pick up their deliveries after school. Please note that our campuses are unable to store items that require refrigeration.

Jacksboro High School students representing Cheer, FCCLA, and FFA attended a reception for Retiring State Senator Drew Springer to thank him for his service to Jack County.
At approximately 10:45 this morning, Faith Community Hospital EMTs were dispatched to Jacksboro Elementary due to a staff member experiencing a medical emergency. The staff member was stabilized and transported to Faith Community Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The medical emergency occurred in a classroom with students present. Parents of these students have been notified. No other students were involved in this incident. Please join me in praying for the health and well-being of this valuable JISD employee.
