JHS Student Council Sponsors Blood Drive with Carter BloodCare
The Jacksboro High School Student Council is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in the foyer of the high school gym. Carter BloodCare will be here from 9 am to 4 pm. To give blood a person must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. Students under 17 years old must have a signed permission form from their parents to give. Permission forms are available in the high school office. Persons wishing to give blood must also have a photo ID. All blood collected by Carter BloodCare stays in the local community. Giving blood is one of the easiest and most important ways a person can help others. Each pint donated saves up to three lives. Those interested in giving blood may sign up in the high school office.
